The Process:
First, we ask that you provide us with a description of the position that is as precise as possible, including the hours of work, the length of the term as well as the required skills. Upon request, C.L.A. Personnel will refer a selection of candidates for which to choose from. Resumes of our potential candidates can be forwarded and interviews scheduled with the candidates of the client's choice at no extra cost. Furthermore, at least two references are always checked by C.L.A. Personnel for each candidate before they are sent on assignment to a client.
C.L.A. Personnel also ensures that a follow-up is conducted on each placement on the starting day of the assignment and then at a later period during the assignment to make sure that our employee is still performing well and to verify that the person is happy with the position. An evaluation report form is sent to be filled out by our employee's supervisor. This assists us in evaluating our employee's pay rate and in re-assigning this employee to future positions. Also, on request, a representative from C.L.A. Personnel may go to our client's office to get a feel for the working environment, thus enabling us to find the most suitable candidate.
In the case of a permanent position, our client becomes responsible for the employee on the first day of work. As such, all related costs, including holidays and vacation pay, will be handled by us. A hourly rate is determined between you and one of our consellors, according to the job description, the complexity of the position, the number of years of experience required, the salary requirements of each candidate, and of course, your budget.
In the case of a permanent position, you become responsible for the employee and their salary payment at the start of the job. Permanent placements benefit from a 90 day satisfaction guarantee in case the employee quits or does not meet the job requirements.
With our Temporary for Permanent program, it is also possible to hire a contractual employee in a permanent position. Our staffing and recruitment counsellors will be happy to explain the details of this program.
